Leadership & Stability

  • Harmanpreet Kaur brings a renowned match attitude to her maiden 50-over World Cup as captain.

  • With her prolific form, Smriti Mandhana anchors India's batting, providing consistency and stability.

Young Stars Rising

  • Beginning in December 2024, Pratika Rawal has amassed 703 runs at an incredible average of 54.07 in 14 innings.

  • The 21-year-old Madhya Pradesh medium-pacer Kranti Gaud earned a spot in the World Cup after showcasing her skills in England with a six-wicket haul.

Spin Depth

With four specialized bowlers—Deepti, Sneh, Radha, and Sree—India has abundant spin options and is well-positioned on home grounds that favor spin.

Missing Opportunities

Known for her aggressive top-order batting, Shafali Verma has been left out because of her patchy ODI form, which has fans and commentators scratching their heads.
