Asia Cup 2025 Matches & Dates Confirmed!

 


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 17th Men's Asia Cup 2025 from September 9 to September 28, 2025. Despite the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) having hosting rights, due to geopolitical issues, India and Pakistan will only compete on neutral sites in the UAE.


Teams & Group Composition

In the T20 International (T20I) format, eight teams will battle:



Group A

Group B

Oman

Afganisthan

India

Bangladesh

Pakistan

Hong Kong

UAE

Sri Lanka



The top two teams from each group advance to the Super Four round, followed by the Final.


Key Fixtures

A total of 19 matches will be contested, across the group stage, Super Four, and the final


  • Group phases begin September 9, with Afghanistan vs Hong Kong opening the tournament

  • India’s opener is vs UAE on September 10 or 11 (varied sources) in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi

  • India against Pakistan—the main clash—is slated for September 14 in Dubai.

  • The Super Four runs throughout mid‑late September, with the chance of India–Pakistan facing again, and if both qualify, maybe meeting in the final as well.

Venues & Timing

  • Matches will be hosted throughout key UAE venues, particularly Dubai International Stadium and Abu Dhabi fields (likely Zayed Cricket Stadium).


  • All games are scheduled as day-night T20I matches, often beginning at 7:00 or 7:30 PM IST, aligning with prime-time television.
